From September 18–20, 2024, the HEPHAESTUS consortium held a workshop at Stonezone, Sweden, bringing together researchers, artists, and designers to explore stonework, digital craftsmanship, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs). Highlights included hands-on quarry experiences, insights from FabLab Venezia on tech-driven sustainability, and an IPR workshop by Vishv Priya Kohli on protecting creative works. The event fostered collaboration, merging tradition with innovation to empower the creative community.

On October 16th, at Ca’ Foscari – Campus Economico San Giobbe in Venice, Italy, Vishv Priya Kohli, Associate Professor at CBS, led an insightful workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for artisans, designers, and artists. The session covered key IPR protections in the EU, practical strategies for safeguarding creative works, and real-life case studies. Participants engaged in discussions, shared experiences, and gained valuable tools to protect their intellectual property. The event concluded with a Q&A session and a networking cocktail.
